The next step in our project was to create our own patterns again using either real pattern blocks, virtual pattern blocks or graph paper. After we built our patterns we were challenged to explain our patterns making sure we added in math terms and vocabulary.
We used the National Library of Manipulatives Site to be able to create our own patterns with pattern blocks. This was one of our three choices to build our patterns.
